Our bespoke service offers practically unlimited design options, along with an extensive range of superior quality interior and exterior finishes to choose from to achieve the specific look, feel, features and creature comforts you have in mind for your dream contemporary garden room.

We’ll also work with you to identify the level of connectivity you will need in your garden room or your bespoke summer house so we can source and install any technologies you require.

Design Stages of a Bespoke Garden Building

Stage A - Brief

Visit Site and take the brief. We will also carry out a photographic survey.

Stage B - Measured Survey

If an existing survey of the proposed location is available, that’s great. If not, we can organise this as part of our service.

Stage C - Plan Development

We develop the plan proposal and adjust until agreed.

Stage D - Design Direction

We present a selection of images and ideas to illustrate the overall style we are suggesting for the development.

Stage E - Preliminary Section/Elevations

We elevate or sketch the proposal based on the agreed plans and design direction.

Stage F - Visual Direction

At this point (with the plan layout, design direction and basic external appearance agreed), we produce a photo realistic CGI.

Stage G - Planning

We prepare the drawings and supporting paperwork necessary and submit the application for either Full Planning or for a Certificate of Lawful Development. Planning can sometimes get very complicated and contentious (although hopefully not in this case) and so if the services of a Planning Consultant or other specialist input is required (bat survey, arboreal survey, construction management plan, ground water investigation, appeal etc.) this would be subject to further agreement.

Stage H - Final Stage

At this point, we would normally produce the package of Construction Drawings to allow the works to be accurately costed/tendered & built, organise all the FF&E, and then supervise the works on site. However, if we agreed that this was probably not necessary, we would step away at completion of Stage G. However, if anything was to crop up requiring further input then you’ve obviously only got to ask.
